description Located in the White Mountains Region, just north of the Presidential Range, Moose Brook State Park is in an area of unparalleled scenery and offers a variety of outdoor activities. The park is ideally located for fishing in the Peabody and Moose rivers. Moose Brook flows through the park, and after passing through a shallow warming pool, feeds the swimming area with cool, clear mountain water. Picnicking and swimming are enjoyed against the scenic mountain backdrop. The many trails in the park are great for exploring on foot or mountain bike.
drivingDirection From I-93: Exit 35 onto Route 3 north to Route 115 north, follow to Route 2 east and follow signs to Moose Brook State Park. From I-95: Route 16 north to Route 2 west in Gorham and follow signs to Moose Brook State Park.

importantInformation Please be aware that if you are reserving any of the P1 through P10, FP, SH, and Group sites at Moose Brook State Park, the BATH HOUSE IS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS; these sites are serviced by outhouses, as well as lodge bathrooms until 8pm nightly, and bathrooms in the main campground. *The nightly site fee pays for 2 adults only and up to 4 dependent children under 18. *6 people maximum per site of which only 4 can be adults. *The third and fourth extra adult on a site pay $10.00 each, per night, upon check-in. *Additional children are charged $5.00 per night. *All additional guest fees are paid upon arrival at the campground NOT when reservation is made. *Youth group reservations please contact 603-271-3556. *Youth Group pay $5 per child per night and for every 4 children 1 adult pays $5 per night. Each additional adults pay $10 per night. There is no direct trail or road access to ATV/OHRV regional trail system from this park except when advertised for specific special events. PLEASE DO NOT BRING FIREWOOD WITH YOU. Firewood can carry exotic insects and tree diseases. Safe firewood is available to purchase at the campground for your convenience. Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am All persons entering the campground must be registered.
